I’m heading into the last debate before our Primary Election Day, but one thing that has always been clear: I’m the only Democrat in this race with a track record of defeating the GOP on a national scale.
I flipped a Republican stronghold blue and have been representing Minnesota in Congress ever since. That doesn’t happen by accident. I have never turned away from a tough fight, and I am not about to start now.
Times are hard right now and people want to see real progress in Minnesota — but that does not happen if we lose this seat to Trump loyalist, Michele Tafoya. I will always champion the issues that matter most to the hardworking families in Minnesota. I will always call out Trump’s lawlessness and political corruption. And I will always show up for Minnesotans when it matters most, unlike my primary opponent who repeatedly misses important votes affecting our state.
We’re less than a week away from the final votes being cast in this primary election, and I hope you know that I don’t take your support for granted. I’m grateful to my core for having represented Minnesota’s 2nd Congressional District for the past 7 years, and I would be honored to take my fight all the way into the Senate.
This race really isn’t about me or any of my opponents. This race is about what’s best for the people of Minnesota and the communities we care about. My MAGA opponent has been steadfast in her support of Trump, so we already know where she stands.
We have to do everything in our power to make sure she does not win.
I’m not done fighting,
Angie
